Monica Griffith, PMHNP-BC

With more than 20 years of nursing experience, Monica is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2002 and later went on to obtain her Master’s degree.

Since joining Alexandria Solutions in 2021, Monica has been committed to delivering comprehensive psychiatric care for individuals facing a wide range of mental health conditions. In addition to her outpatient work, she has provided inpatient coverage at Ocean’s Behavioral Hospital and played a key role in launching the Ocean’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Alexandria, serving as the program’s medication management provider. Grounded in her Christian faith, Monica believes that God has called her to this field to make a difference in the lives of others through compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.
